This Saturday just gone was the Glasgow leg of the UK X Fighters exhibition tour. The setting couldn’t have been more perfect, a beautiful square (even if it was rammed with drunk tweakers) and the weather was perfect. From my point of view the day went without a hitch, apart form when the generator of the DJ truck overloaded.I thought I knew what to expect, but it was nuts, the jump was 65ft and I found myself yelling along with the crowd. This pervy old man wanted his photo with the wings girls, then took a photo himself of just the girls. I stood behind him and made a wanking motion suggesting the photos were for his ‘wank bank’. The girls weren’t impressed.

The MC, Tim, works on Kerrang radio and did a good job of hyping the crowd up, he had some choice quotes as well, like this beauty: “come on guys, it’s like a cult without the mass suicide!” (?!?!?!?)
